How to use Oliwraps
When you first open your pack of Oliwraps you'll probably think, oh - that's not very sticky!
At room temperature Oliwrap is stiff, shiny and yes, not vey tacky. The magic happens when you warm it. Give your sheet of Oliwrap a quick rub between your palms or a good scrunch in your fist and suddenly you've got a bendable wrap that sticks to itself.
You can now mould it around a bowl, wrap your sandwiches, cover an open can in the fridge, seal a cut piece of fruit or veg or preserve your vegan cheese. Some people even use it take soap bars with them when camping!
Oiwrap can be cleaned with cold water under the tap or wiped down with a damp cloth. To dry your Oliwrap simply give it fold and stand it to dry like a tent - it'll drip dry in no time.
We recommend that your store your wraps in a dust free environment - a cotton bag in the kitchen drawer is ideal, so long as it doesn't get too hot! You can also roll them up and store them in the fridge so they're handy when you need them.
Refresh or rot?
With care your wraps can last for up to 12 months but eventually the time will come when the wax has lost its stickiness.
When that happens you can either cut up and compost your Oliwrap or you can decide to extend its life with a quick treatment of Oiblock wrap refresher.
One packet of Oliblock is enough to treat three large wraps or a bread wrap + small wrap.
